It's not real surprise that truck operators around the country have helped make Isuzu's N Series Australia's number one. When it comes to safety, it leads the pack in both active and passive safety features. The cabs are quieter and more comfortable. Engines more powerful and more efficient. It all makes for a truck that's the one to drive.
All N Series models now boast ECE R29-compliant safety cabs. They are reinforced by double side-intrusion bars, seatbelts with pre-tensioners and load-limiters. Add vital equipment like traction control, ABS, Anti-skid regulator, Hill Start Aid, and driver and passenger airbags, and the standard Isuzu safety package continues to lead the way.
Isuzu has more experience with low emission engines in the Australian market than any other brand. The new SiTEC Series III diesels that feature on the N Series are economical, lightweight and compact with better performance than ever before. Naturally, they all comply with 2011's ADR 80-03/EuroV standards.
Isuzu's Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), available on selected models, delivers an auto's ease of use with a manual's performance, economy and renowned durability. AMT is easy on fuel consumption, maintenance costs and component life. Not to mention your left leg.
The new N Series has roomier, more comfortable interiors, providing a more inviting working environment. There's plenty of storage, a super large Fluoro interior dome light and, on Premium models, an all-new driver suspension seat. You'll also find the cabs easy to get into as a result of wide doors opening to 90degrees and large grab-handles.
Isuzu's touchscreen audio-visual system gives you integrated sat-nav, memory card slot for music and/or mapping, MP3 input, Bluetooth and optional external cameras*. A separate Multi-Information Display keeps you posted on fuel consumption, speed warnings, engine hours, service intervals and more.
As a professional driver, you need your wits about you. And your eyes. That's where the option of having 360˚ vision* comes in very handy. Operating through the touchscreen audio-visual system, you can have cameras in three different positions, say front, side and rear, all displaying at the same time, even with audio. * Camera system is an optional item available at additional cost.
The suspension driver's seat (standard on premium models) has an integrated 3-point seat belt, which makes any journey safer and more comfortable.
